Bruno
Light Foot's We Dont Talk About Bruno
Male - Grey & White
Bi-colored Eyes
Position: Trainee

Bruno's Embark
What can't you say about Bruno, he is nothing but fantastic! Bruno takes after his father, Pete, and is a complete ball of energy. When he is not busy trying to play with everyone he will smooze you into giving him a cuddle. He enjoys long walks through the woods, swimming at the lake, and scratches behind the ears. If he could, he would sneek into the house to sleep on our boy's beds at night.

*Icon
Poland Spring's Icon at Light Foot
Female - White
Blue Eyes
Position: Trainee

Icon's Embark
Icon has expressive blue eyes tagged with animated body postures. She has a very unique personality and can be shy with strangers. She may take a little while to warm up to new people, but that makes her relationships with the people she trusts that much more special. This loyal little honey has a hunger to run during our training outings. I am hoping for great things from this pup! Icon came to us from a Seppala kennel out of Maine to which they are dedicated to preserving this historic lineage/breed.

Autti
Light Foot's Autumn Beauty
Female - Copper & White
Blue Eyes

Position: Team

Autumn's Embark
Autti is a sweet and social girl. She is always happy, attentive, and looking for ways he can please everyone. She enjoys playing with her kennel-mate, Icon, and is often found covered in dirt from digging holes and rolling around. Autti has beautiful blue eyes paired with a striking copper coat and loves to greet you with a woo-woooo.

*Lily
Light Foot's Lily of the Valley
Female - Dilute Grey & White
Blue Eyes

Position: Command Lead

Lily's Embark
Lily is calm yet sassy. When she was younger, she picked up running with the team fast and has been the easiest dog to train. As a puppy, she already showed potential as a future leader with her independent thinking and fearlessness to run in front of the team. Lily is very much loyal to her musher and will do anything asked of her.

Birch
Light Foot's Diamond Birch
Female - Grey & White
Brown w/ Left Parti-Eye
Position: Point

Birch's Embark
Birch not only is a clone of her father, Pete, she also inherited the same excited squeal that her mother Prim made when we brought out the sled. Birch is quick to learn and loves giving standing hugs (even when you don't ask for them)! We hope to harness her energy and intelligence and direct it toward being a great addition on the team, possibly lead someday.

*Grover

Howling Spirits Grover
Male - Sable & White
Brown Eyes
Position: Command Lead

Grover's Embark
Grover came to us as a yearling from a racing kennel in Wisconsin. He is a big cuddle bug - he'll lay down and wait patiently for you to come pet him or stand on his hind legs to give you a hug! BUT as soon as you get him in harness, he seems to say ,"Lets get to work" and is forward focused with no non-sense!

Pete
Winterfell's Silver Acer
Male - Grey & White
Brown Eyes
Position: Co-lead/Team

Pete's Embark
We rescued Petey-Pete as a puppy from a breeder that neglected him and his sister. Pete is an independent soul with an easy going demeanor, but due to his start in life - Pete is nervous of visitors. Pete is all business in harness and is a powerhouse for his size. You don't need to tell him twice that its time to work! Most runs we match Pete up with Grover - They are a dynamic fast paced mid-distance duo!

*Annie
HK9K's Lupus Est' Decoris Anya
Female - Dirty Faced Agouti
Brown Eyes
Position: Point/Puppy Trainer

Anya's Embark
Anya has deep, gentle brown eyes and seeks out your affection, but don't let her sweet disposition fool you, she is our trouble-maker. Notorious for sneaking around and stealing gloves and toys then stashing them in secret hiding spots, she also likes to try and escape when she can - if she can't dig under, she'll climb over! As an adult, she has shaped up to be a great any-position dog. Listen closely to her as our Annie-girl will tell you a story each time you pass her by.

Honorable mention goes out to Cross (Dutch Shepherd), our house dog. He wears many hats and is very versatile for our family. He has been train in personal protection, search/tracking, flushing/retrieving pheasants, herding goats, and most recently running on our sled team!
